Bullying and DASA

Hammond Central School District is a BULLY FREE ZONE
Harassment, hazing or bullying are serious and will not be tolerated. Please click on the link and use the reporting form to report alleged harassment, hazing or bullying that occurred on school property, at a school sponsored activity or event, on or off school property, on a school bus, or on the way to and/or from school. Any person (student, parent/caregiver, community member, facutly/staff member, etc.) observing, or being the target of bullying, hazing, harassment or perceived bullying, hazing, harassment activity should report the observation. Please complete and submit this form to the principal or DASA Coordinator. Contact the main office for additional information or assistance.
DASA (Dignity for All Students Act)
In accordance with the Dignity for All Students Act, School District policy and practice must ensure that no student is subject to discrimination or harassment, based on a person's actual or perceived race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender/gender identity or sex by school employees or students on school property, on a school bus, or at a school function.
