2020-21 HCS Meals

The food service department wishes to welcome back everybody to school!

ALL school meals are FREE until December 31, 2020. (Unless Congress passes another bill extending free meals to everyone for a longer period of time.)
After December 31, 2020 Meal prices are as follows: breakfast .75 cents, lunch for K – 6   $2.35

and 7 - 12  $2.45.

It is very important to fill out a free & reduced application.  The link to the forms is at the bottom of this letter.  The forms are on our website or you may request one from the school at any time.  If you did not qualify, and have any changes in income, increase in family; please fill out another at any time throughout the school year. Once you qualify, you are good for the whole school year.

We will be offering bag lunches containing breakfast and lunch for hybrid students not in school. Everyone that would like meals please contact the school to sign up. There is a form in the parent packet.  The cost of the bag meals (breakfast and lunch) will be: ALL school meals are FREE until December 31, 2020. After December 31, 2020 Meal prices are as follows:$3.10 (.75 + $2.35) for K – 6 and $3.20 (.75 + $2.45) for 7 – 12, and free to all those who qualify through the free and reduced program.

Meal schedule for grades 9-12 in the hybrid model:

Tuesday we will send home bag meals for Wednesday remote students.

Wednesday we will send home meals for Thursday remote students.

Thursday we will send home meals for Friday and Monday remote students.

Friday we will send home meals for Monday and Tuesday remote students.

There will be a pick up at school for totally remote learners if the meals are requested.

2020-2021 Free & Reduced School Meals Application

We are now offering student lunch accounts online!
Just go to https://www.mySchoolBucks.com<https://www.myschoolbucks.com/>​, put in your email address, make a password, answer a couple of security questions, and then add your child(ren) by birthdate or schooltool ID (found on the parent portal).  Once logged in, you can see current amounts on accounts, add money to accounts and even see their meal purchase history!


Lunch Prices for the 2020-2021 School Year - ALL school meals are FREE until December 31, 2020.

Full Student Breakfast Price - $.75

UPK - 6th Grades  Lunch Price - $2.35

7th – 12th Grades Lunch Price - $2.45

Reduced Breakfast and Lunch - No Charge

      Parents may still prepay for their child’s meals by bringing/sending a check with their child(ren) to school's Main Office  or to the School Lunch Office. The check should be made payable to "Hammond Central School District". If a student forgets his/her lunch money, a charge policy is in place. Please contact the School Lunch Office for more information.


Free and Reduced Meals

Just a reminder: households can apply for meal benefits at any time throughout the school year. If you have had a change of income or if your household size has changed, please feel free to contact the School Lunch office at (315)-324-5931.
